Probably not what you want to hear but I'm a BIG believer in 'everything happens for a reason'. Divine intervention maybe...This wasn't meant to be.

Holiday romances are always perfect! Mind you, it would drive you nuts not knowing if it would work or not. This may sound obvious, but have you tried calling your phone? Someone may be able to send it back if they picked it up. If it's been a while now, it would likely be gone forever. If you knew which hotel he stayed at you could try ringing them and asking if they would give a contact number for him, they should still have it on record but may not be able to give out details depending on their privacy policy, a number may be OK though... or if he was working there, an employer would have contact details. It may cost a bit in phonebills, but it could pay off. Also, not everyone is into facebook, you could try myspace etc. Otherwise it may be a case of ringing all the Bob Jones in the phonebook from where he said he was from... just depends on how much you want to find him really! Good luck!

If you met him last year and are starting to look for him now, maybe he isn't the one - maybe you liked the idea of him being the one. Don't worry, you'll find someone wonderful soon and you'll forget about this romance. :)
